Amenities & Accommodation
All our accommodations on this trip will be in 3-4* hotels, except in the town of Dedoplistskaro, where we will stay in a family-run boutique hotel. Breakfast will be provided in the hotel, but dinner may be some other restaurant in the vicinity. Lunch is usually at a restaurant on the way to the destination. We always choose locally owned, remarkable places with great cuisine as our stops.
Difficulty: Easy
This is a relaxed adventure trip requiring 3-5 km of walking or hiking each day, usually to explore cultural and historical sights. Some places, such as Vardzia, involve walking up and down steep steps, and “Eagle” Canyon involves hiking up a short trail.
Safety
This itinerary is carefully designed to avoid risky activities and extreme sports. Mostly cultural experiences, historical trips and nature walks, it can be done by seniors as well as young children.
