The road to Saguramo, Sabaduri Forest and Gulelebi is well maintained and accessible by any vehicle.

Eat and Sleep

There are several restaurants and wineries in the Saguramo area where you can enjoy Georgian, Azerbaijani or European cuisine, such as Guramishvili Marani (must be booked in advance).

There are natural springs in the park area, but we recommend that you bring your own water. There are several supermarkets in Saguramo where you can buy bottled water.

Usually Tbilisi National Park is a day trip destination, but you could stay at Sevsamora Resort & Spa for beautiful sunsets over the Aragvi Valley. You can also taste wine from their vineyard.

What to Do

Hiking

You can hike from the village of Mamkoda to the Zedazeni Monastery via the Saguramo ridge, or hike through the northern forests of the mountain. There are several routes, but they are unmarked and may disappear after a while.
There is a trail from Zakaro to Gulelebi village, but we can’t confirm whether it is still visible or already covered by vegetation.
Via the Lokistskaro Pass you can walk from the village of Norio to the village of Kevliani.

Cycling

Mountain biking can be done on the same routes mentioned in the Hiking section, although some of the best routes have yet to be found.
Cycling is possible in the Sabaduri forest because there are few cars (due to the winding road) and the forest itself is beautiful.
